Conference scope

Letter from the organizers

You are cordially invited to join the 15th International Conference on Magnetic Resonance Microscopy (ICMRM), which will be held from August 18th to 22nd, 2019 in Paris, France.

The aim of the ICMRM series is to promote the most recent advances in the development of spatially resolved magnetic resonance methods and their applications. Continuing this tradition, the 15th conference in Paris will cover research related to the application of spatially resolved magnetic resonance to a large variety of systems including solids, porous media, and biological tissues. In addition, applications of magnetic resonance to engineering, biomedical and clinical sciences will be presented as well. We will also include pre-clinical imaging, molecular and cellular imaging, technological advances in magnetic resonance instruments and other exotic experiments.

The series of MR microscopy conferences started in 1991 in Heidelberg, Germany and was continued as a biannual meeting (originally called "Heidelberg Conferences"). The last five meetings were held in Halifax, Canada (2017), Munich, Germany (2015), Cambridge, UK (2013), Beijing, China (2011) and Montana, USA (2009).

All researchers in the field of spatially resolved magnetic resonance are invited to show their most recent results in the form of invited lectures, contributed oral presentations and traditional posters. There will be no parallel sessions. All posters will be on display for the duration of the conference. The conference will start with a series of educational lectures and the opening of the conference will be marked by a plenary lecture.

We are delighted to host the ICMRM in 2019 in Paris, France. Paris is the city of love, inspiration, art and fashion. Its nickname “the City of Light” reminds of its importance as a center for education and intellectual pursuits.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Paris for the 15th ICMRM!
